The LEA has been maintaining relationships with several other national and international institutions such as:

 

An extensive biodiversity program is in progress within the program BIOTA (Biodiversity Monitoring Transect Analysis in Africa) in cooperation with countries such as Germany, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Benin.  The LEA also works within the following networks :
